Sport Activations

Sport partnerships connecting fans.

One of the most exciting chapters in my career was working with Rogers Communications on their partnership with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE), Canada’s biggest name in sports and entertainment. This partnership allowed me to bring experiential marketing to life within the world of Toronto’s professional sports teams, connecting fans to their favorite games in unique and memorable ways.

As part of Rogers’ team, I helped design activations and experiences for baseball, hockey, and basketball, each tailored to capture the spirit of the sport. Whether it was crafting fan experiences during hockey season or producing interactive displays for basketball games, each activation required an understanding of the sports culture and the ability to translate it into engaging, on-site interactions for fans and clients alike.

Leading the tech ideation and production for each activation was one of my primary responsibilities, overseeing everything from concept development to seamless execution on game day. This role meant diving into all aspects of the tech setup, ensuring each activation ran smoothly while delivering an unforgettable experience for fans and partners. Balancing the client’s vision with the dynamic environment of live sports events pushed me to think quickly and creatively—a challenge I thrived on.

One of the perks of this role was getting to experience all the season openers up close, feeling the buzz and excitement of game day right alongside the fans. Working with Rogers in collaboration with MLSE not only deepened my skills in experiential marketing but also gave me the chance to help shape unforgettable sports experiences that brought fans closer to the games they love.
